An Overview of SOMA Spring

Convention 2024     

The SOMA Foundation is thrilled to report another successful SOMA Spring Conference in 2024.  This event provided valuable opportunities for SOMA members and the Foundation to connect and collaborate. The conference leveraged a user-friendly virtual platform, fostering participation and interaction among SOMA members across the country. The conference offered a robust program of educational sessions focused on leadership. These sessions provided SOMA members with the latest information and resources to enhance their osteopathic knowledge and skills. In collaboration with SOMA, the Foundation hosted a lively social event on Saturday evening. This event provided an enriching space for SOMA members to network, socialize, and build lasting connections. Marking an exciting new chapter, the Foundation successfully transitioned board members and welcomed a talented group of new Directors. Their diverse perspectives and fresh ideas promise to propel the Foundation towards even greater achievements in the coming year.

Building Connections at the SOMA Spring Social

The SOMA Foundation's Spring Social, held at Salazar in Logan Circle during the 2024 SOMA Spring Convention, proved to be a resounding success.  This vibrant social event provided a welcome opportunity for SOMA members from across the country to connect in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. Attendees enjoyed lively conversations, fostering new connections and strengthening existing professional relationships.

Mingle in a social setting: The relaxed atmosphere encouraged members to unwind, share experiences, and build lasting memories. The event served as a platform to celebrate the shared values and camaraderie within the osteopathic community. The SOMA Spring Social attracted over 80 SOMA members, demonstrating the strong interest in fostering connections within the organization. This high turnout underscores the importance of these social events in strengthening the SOMA community.Overall, the SOMA Spring Social played a vital role in enhancing the overall conference experience. By fostering a sense of connection and community, the event left a positive and lasting impression on attendees.
